Hi, we’re Angela and Pat!

Our connection to North Carolina started back in 1988. Pat moved here with his family from Florida, and Angela moved here from Utah. We both fell in love with the Charlotte area and decided to make it home, though it wasn’t until 2001 that we finally met each other — and then fell in love for good.

Since then, we’ve lived in the Ballantyne, Matthews, and Waxhaw area, and most recently moved into this wonderful new neighborhood. Like many of you, we’re excited to start fresh, get settled, and connect with the great people around us.

To help everyone get to know one another (and clear out a little clutter at the same time!), we’re organizing a Community Yard Sale. The idea is simple: dozens of neighbors participating, everyone decluttering, and a chance to find some great bargains while making connections.

The small $10 participation fee covers shared costs — online ads to draw traffic, a neighborhood banner, balloons and ribbons so shoppers can find participating homes, and pricing stickers for your items. We’re not making money on this; it’s just about bringing people together.
